Infinite Possibilities, what an intriguing thought.
Belief-systems I patterned, for security I sought. Earth-drama to distract myself, I soon became addicted; My body could not cope with pain, emotions I restricted. Belief-systems invisible, till Witness lays them bare. My rationalizing intellect pretending I’m aware. I’ve not conceived what’s possible, enslaved to old believe’; Assuming that from memories a new world I’d achieve. Acknowledging my partnership with God, I oft neglected; Refused responsibilities to own what I projected. To purify my wounded heart, my thoughts controlled all cleaning, Resisted to allow what is; to chaos I gave meaning. How many lifetimes will it take for Witness to reveal, The games my mind has played with me, ILLUSIONS ALL-----------NONE REAL.

Perception of injustice brought many folks to rage.
Our mind says, “Let’s get even, our heart says, don’t engage. ‘Twas Gandhi’s words of wisdom, that called us to be kind, An Eye for an Eye, this old law, will turn the whole world blind. Revenge and fierce aggression, born from a heart that’s weak, The Gospel cited Jesus, “to turn the other cheek”. The morning of our life-span we conquer and protect, the treasures we have gathered, from Have Nots seek respect. The ignorance of others tempts me to righteous pride. If I’d been walking in their shoes, I’ve seen the other side. The dark side of my mind, breeds judgment and decay, forgiveness brings us healing, if practiced every day. I seek a higher Consciousness, a heart that can forgive, It calls for self-awareness, to change the way I live. In time of meditation, seek wisdom from above, Oh Lord, my God, I thank Thee, remind me to share Love. A wave of Higher Consciousness will wake the slumbering SOUL,
When Hearts choose love and send love forth, we realize we’re whole. Compassion or Contempt, my friend, both energies of choice, Invisible to us, --and yet, -- they travel through our voice. These value judgements fly unseen, each serves and molds their part, Like Cupids Arrow, silently, to lift or wound the heart. The slumbering Soul stays unaware, assumes a separate section, Lives for itself and drudges on, forgot our GOD-connection. Our human bodies cloaked in flesh, we feel our hearts are torn, We are not separate from our Lord, from SPIRIT allwere born. When we unite in LOVE DIVINE, convinced we all have worth, Renew our Mind, so every Soul-- Experiences REBIRTH Accepting what is, and the person we are,
Bids our critical self “Peace, be still.” It’s a conscious command, knowing we have the power, Greater consciousness surpasses will. We are more than our mental emotional self, Or the physical body we train, There are uncharted labyrinths yet to be found, Although we are censured by fear in our brain. We’ve been brainwashed by customs, some are now obsolete Our five senses controlled what’s perceived, Yet in spite of our limiting, critical self, We’ve accomplished the dreams we believed. Believing is MAGIC; we need faith to succeed, Become masters of all that we -will- There are heavenly helpers to erase all our doubts, Guard our vision, to focus on skill. Like a magnet, attracting the shavings of steel, Our beliefs will attract what we see, ‘Less we learn to awaken, become conscious of Truth, Then our shadow-side can’t be set free. Accept Grace, freely given, forfeit labels of guilt, Cleanse our mind from the poison of shame, We may choose our own path, a command from the Lord. It’s COMPASSION, He sends in His name. Survived the many losses throughout life,
Attached to stuff assuming it brings gain, To quench those inner storms, my constant strife, Resisting Spirits lesson brought more pain. To start again when all our plans have failed, New paradigm when Spirit opens mind Begin again, His Mission now unveiled Serve God and man, new purpose we will find Discover nature’s gifts that hide within. Potentials--, latent, dormant, and disguised Our future world takes on a brand new spin Forfeit destructive thoughts, now realized. Reach out in Faith, compassion is the key Re-claim our hearts, through eyes of love we’d see. |
